"Witch
Tree "
The
Witch Tree clings to the bare rock at the north-eastern most tip of Minnesota.
Jutting out into Lake Superior, the Witch Tree has survied centuries in
a brutal environment. Voyageurs knew that there journey's end was near,
for just around the bend lay Grand Portage, the main inland depot of the
famed North West Company.
