"Frontenanc Early Morning Departure"
Choppy seas greet the Frontenac as she leaves Duluth harbor on a blustery day. This print is a favorite as it shows the aerial lift bridge and the two lighthouses at the end of each pier, as well as the Maritime Museum at the extreme right.

This particular painting is a first. The first time that Rebecca and Brian worked together on the same piece. Since then many pieces have been done collaboratively.
The twin ports of Duluth/Superior serve nearly 200 foreign-flag vessels each year, along with an average of a thousand Great Lakes freighters. "Lakers" include 1,000-foot super freighters carrying over 60,000 tons per trip.
