Watercolors
1. Place an order. We would suggest doing this as soon as you realize that you would like a commission. Each commission takes some time to complete. Fifty percent of the purchase price is due when ordered (nonrefundable), and fifty percent due before we ship and after you have seen the image via the Internet and given final approval.
2. If we are doing a portrait, we will need photos
of the subject. Photos must be clear. You are welcome to send us a photo to
see if it will make a nice painting, before you "officially" commission a
portrait. Because of copyright issues, studio or professional photographer's
photos may not be used without written permission from the photographer for
them to be used. Having good photographs to work from is critical. If you
need advice or suggestions for taking good portraits photos please visit these

3. E-mail a .jpg or send us hard copies of the photos. We do our best
to return your photos in good condition, however, they will be in our studio,
with our paints and water. Please do not send us the only copy of a treasured
photo. Have a duplicate made, and send us the duplicate,
or scan it into your computer and send us a .jpg file of the photo. If you
do not have access to a scanner, a printing or camera shop can do it for you
and put it on a disk for you.
4. We paint the commission.
5. After your final approval of the work, the second half of the commission
price is due. For final approval of the work you will receive a .jpg file
via the Internet. For final approval we will e-mail you a .jpg file of the
final work.
6. After receiving final payment, the finished work is shipped to you,
insured.
