"Agate
Hunt"
This
painting by Rebecca, of one of our family outings to Duluth's Brighton Beach,
to look for agate. Many people like to sit on the rocks and look for them,
especially after a big storm has churned up the bottom, bringing new agates
to light.
Brighton Beach is a part of Kitchegamme Park, located at the northeastern portion of Duluth, Minnesota. A beautiful place for a picnic or for just taking a quiet moment to gaze out over Lake Superior.
